My final Elizabethan contemporary hair design

For my final assessment i drew out three design, two on which i liked and i tried out. however for my final look i have decided to go with look number 3 Step by Step

Health and safety.

  1. wash hands
  2. gown the model
  3. do a consultation to see if there is any counter-indications

how to

1. Place the padding at the crown of the head.

2.     Pin the padding down in place and make sure its secure.
3.     Check through the mirror to see it is centered.
4.     Start by securing the hair in the front that will be designed differently and put it out of the way using a hair band.
5.     Take the back section braids and using a hair band, secure the braids out of the way.
6.     With the hair left, Starting from the back, mold the braids to the padding.
7.     Do this till all braids have molded the padding.
8.     With the hair at the back left out, start by creating a swirl round design on each braid. Use pins to secure in place.
9.     For the front create a zigzag plat by taking three hair braids and loosely platting it down, then grabbing one of the three the center once in place and pushing the other two down the braid.
10. Repeat this technique till all the hair at the front is done.
11. Pin the zigzag hair up to mold the padding shape, but live the out one from each side.
12. With the two left zigzag plat pin each toward the center to create a heart shape.
13. Presided by placing purls at the front of the hair design then randomly on the rest of the hair.

what to use

  1. Large and small hairpins
