Inspiration looks for my contemporary Elizabethan hairstyle

Here is a good interpretation of the Elizabethan hair that I found on pintrest.
The colour of the hair and also the style of the hair is very Elizabethan.

I especially like the detail at the front of the hair.

The one thing that makes this image a good contemporary Elizabethan is the high of the hair and how textured it is. The hair looks like something Elizabeth the 1st would were as wig. To achieve this look one would need a lot of hair and padding as well as hairpin.

The advertisement of the o2 Beyoncé concert is a very good interpretation of the Elizabethan contemporary look. Her hair has been crimped and curled to achieve this look something one would see in a Elizabethan image. the hair looks like it has been back combed to create the volume.

The above looks are a good interpretation of a contemporary Elizabethan hairstyle. Each of them are unique and has captured the Elizabethan fill in a unique way.

I have tried a few of the looks on my own hair in my own interpretation.  I must say it has been interesting to see what one can do with plats.

For this look I got my inspiration from the fast image on this page. i attempted to create the heart shape using two paddings. To do this I wrapped my braid to the padding and pined them in place. this look took up a lot of pins and was very difficult to do because my braids are very long.
I also used the inspiration from the next image to create the wring lets shapes with the braids.

Here is what the back looks like. From the back its the heart shape is very clear to see. However so is the padding, next time I will make sure to cover the padding well.
Also in this look I incorporated a bun. I did this by taking all the hair left and putting it in a ponytail, and then wrapping the hair around itself well’s folding inwards.
